SALLIS -- Lacie B. Allen, 93, of Jackson, formerly of Sallis, retired from J.C. Penney, died Thursday at Manhattan Health Care Center in Jackson. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Nowell Funeral Home in Kosciusko with burial in Sallis Cemetery.

She was a member of Sallis Baptist Church. Mrs. Allen, the widow of Grover G. Allen, leaves a son, Grover N. Allen of Jackson; two sisters, Lee Slocum of Harold, Ark., and Ethel Keifer of Houston, Texas; a brother, Robert Burnett of El Dorado, Ark., two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
