LaVerne E., 68, of Midwest City, passed away Monday, June 20, 1994. She was born Nov. 6, 1925 in Buffalo Valley, Ok. to Garland and Bessie (Allison) Stringer. She was a member of the Midwest City First Church of the Nazarene. LaVerne married Hoyt Graves in Mansfield, Arkansas, Oct. 14, 1944. Survived by her husband, Hoyt of the home; 2 sons, Randy of Okla. City and Wayne of Tulsa, Ok.; 2 daughters, Gayle VanAuken of Toledo, Ohio and Carol Doris of Del City; a sister, Lavena Sands of Del City; 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter; also a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be Thursday, 10:00 a.m. June 23, 1994 at the Midwest City First Church of the Nazarene with burial in Arlington Memory Gardens. Rev. Wayland Stewart will officiate.
