Funeral services were held April 13 at Fox Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Alberta Blanche Courtney, 76, who died April 11 at Ardmore Adventist Hospital. Rev. Albert May officiated. Interment was in Green Hill Cemetery with arrangements by Fox Funeral Home.
Born Oct. 18, 1908 at Washita, OK she moved to Davis in 1969. She married Walter Courtney Oct. 18, 1926 at Anadarko. He preceded her in death Sept. 21 1984.
Survivors are one daughter, Laura Hock, of Davis; four sons, Jim and Kenneth Courtney, Roff, and Bill Courtney, Sulphur and Wayne Courtney, Davis; three sisters, Eddie Mae Bryson, Scranton, KS, Dollie Belle Guitar, Redondo Beach, CA and Lenor Hunt, Duncan; one brother; and 34 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mike Wyche, Steve Thompson, Eldon Bell, Jery Crha, James Crha and Jay Burris.
