Services for Ruby Alice Stokes of Thomasville are at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007, at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery on 12th street. The Rev. Dr. Mike Keown and the Rev. Howard Cooper will officiate. Ms. Stokes died Feb. 2, at Glenn-Mor Nursing Home. Born Oct. 22, 1909, in Grady County, she was the daughter of the late Henry W. and Alice Bryant Stokes. She was a secretary for the U.S. government and is survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will recieve friends from 7 to 9 p.m., today at the funeral home.
