Son of Thomas Daniel Tunison and Anna (Cole) Tunison. Husband of Harriet (Knox).

Funeral notice from the Adrian (Michigan) Public Library was in the Adrian Daily Telegram, published on 29 Jul 1886.

"The funeral of E. C. Tunison occurred at his residence, Sunday afternoon (25 Jul 1886), his pastor, Rev. J. McLean, officiating. For the past fifteen years the deceased had been an active business man, the head of the firm of E. C. Tunison & Son, which, besides carrying on an extensive dry goods business, had dealt largely in produce, buying what the farmers had to sell, and by this class will he be missed more than by any other. He was an active member of the Baptist church, liberal in his charities, kind in his intercourse, and honest and upright in his dealings. His death is a loss to his family, the village, and the community."

Cemetery records list his DOB: 17 Apr 1826 in Covert, NY/DOD: 23 Jul 1886 in Morenci, MI, Age: 60y, Cause of death: Senal decay (senile?), burial location: 35, 1350.
Photo of gravestone shows DOD the 25th, which was his burial date.

NOTE: I am not sure if he is related to me. My gr. gr. grandmother Havila (Tunison) Frantz is also buried in this cemetery - Ezra could be a cousin to Havila.
