Jerry T. Naylor, 57, of Heavener died Sunday, June 14, 2009, in Fort Smith. He was born Oct. 2, 1951, in Conser, Okla. He was a member of Perry Chapel Baptist Church in Conser, the Heavener Masonic Lodge and Hodgen Fire Department, a 1970 graduate of Heavener High School and retired from Kansas City Railroad. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Dowden Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener with burial at Conser Cemetery in Heavener. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; two daughters, Tonya Hamilton of Springfield, Mo., and Brandy Hiatt of Red Oak, Okla.; two stepdaughters, Lisa Mahaffey of Bentonville and Latrina Mahaffey of Waldron; a stepson, Ricky Mahaffey of Danville; two sisters, Helen Bell and Florita Lord, both of Heavener; a brother, Finnis Naylor of Chicago; two grandchildren and four stepgrandchildren. The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
