Jean Abel Worlton passed away at her home after a prolonged illness related to breast cancer.

She was born May 15, 1942 in American Fork, to Lennis and Helen Abel.

Married Fred R. Worlton in the Manti Temple and is survived by her husband, a daughter, Pam (Anthony) and two beautiful grandchildren (Sara and Tyler).

Jean is known as a loving, caring friend to those who knew her.

She will always be remembered as a happy and righteous daughter of her Father in Heaven.

Jean loved her association with the youth of the Midvale Utah East 7th Ward.

She would like to thank her many friends for their compassionate service, the Midvale Utah East 5th & 7th Wards, hospice and others too numerous to mention.

A special thanks to Maurine, Merilyn, Marlane, Ranae and Amy for their endless friendship.

Jean is also survived by her mother (Helen Abel), brother (George Abel) and sister (Sally Schumann).

Preceded in death by her father, Lennis Abel.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 27 at 12 noon at the Midvale Utah East Stake Center, 240 E. 7570 South.

Friends may call Monday 6-8 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State, and Tuesday at the church from 10:30-11:45 a.m.

Interment will be in the Lehi City Cemetery.
