She died at the Sullivan Care Center,Sullivan,on Tuesday,
September 24,1991.
She recieved her schooling in the Immaculate Conception School in Union and grew to womanhood in this area.
In 1925,she was united in marriage to Mr. Joseph P. Overschmidt at the Immaculate Conception church.They made their home in Union and one son was born to this marriage.
Mrs.Overschmidt was a charter member of the Western catholic Union,the Immaculate Conception Church and the Alter Sodality.
She was preceded in death by her husband,Joseph,in 1934;two sisters,Cecelia and Nellie Overschmidt;five brothers,Alex,William,Henry F.,Joseph G.,and Hugo W. Klenke;and by a granddaughter,Connie Overschmidt.
She is survived by her son,Robert Overschmidt and his wife Theresa,Union;five grandchildren,Bob and his wife Cindi,Don Overschmidt,Jane Luechtefeld and her husband Paul and Amy and Susan Overschmidt;three greatgrandchildren,Dustin and Lauryn Overschmidt and Zachary Luechtefeld;other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Friday,September 27,from the Oltmann Funeral Home,Union,with a funeral Mass from Immaculate Conception Church in Union,by Rev.Ted Burghoff.Interment followed in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
