Morrison Bolton was the son of William and Dorcas M. Johnson Bolton. His wife's name was Genevera Wolf they would have two children a daughter Jennie (Erisman) and a son Victor Bolton.

Morrison was a Civil War Veteran the following information was found on Ancestry.Com

Morrison Bolton enlisted on April 24, 1861 in Greenville,Ohio as a PVT in Co. K llth Ohio Infantry he was discharged at Expiration of term on Aug 17, 1861 in Greenville, Ohio

He then reenlisted on Oct 21, 1861 in Greenville, Ohio as a PVT in Co. D 69th Ohio Infantry he was discharged on July 17, 1865 in Tennessee

He suffered from Hemorrhoids and a running sore on his right foot, also jandiac.

The following was found on papers from the US National Homes for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers.

He was born in Ohio, he was 55 when he came to the home he was 6ft tall with a ruddy complexion, gray eyes, grey hair, he could read and write he was a widower.
His occupation was Farmer
His nearest relative was his son Victor Bolton, of Horatio Ohio his daughter Jennie Erisman lived his Gettysburg Ohio,

He died July 15, 1920 of Carcinoma of the right cheek
