END COMES SUDDENLY

East Palestine April 19- Returning from services in the Presbyterian church Sunday morning, W.C. Wallace, president of the First National Bank and one of the towns representative men, died suddenly from heart failure. Though in his 70th year, Mr. Wallace enjoyed a comparatively good health. Yesterday he seemed particularly well and after returning from church, drove his team to the barn and tended to the horses. He was in the house only a moment or two when the attack developed, the end followed immediately. Surviving with Mrs. Wallace who is ill, are three children; W.O. Wallace of Columbiana, Charles of East Palestine and Olive of Salem, Mass. The funeral is announced for Wednesday with services at the house at two o'clock.

Mr. Wallace was identified with many of the leading businesses and industries of East Palestine, being a member of the board of directors of the East Palestine Pottery Company, president of the East Palestine Lumber Company, president of the Stock Raiser's Mutual Live Stock Association, president of the East Palestine Creamery Company, president of the Springfield Mutual Insurance Company, and president of the First National Bank of East Palestine.

On Sept. 15, 1870, Mr. Wallace was married to Miss Lucinda Long, the daughter of Israel and Elizabeth Long. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace were the parents of four children:

Charles L. (born Oct 26,1871)
Marie E., (born 1874)
Paul (born 1879)
William Oren Wallace (born May 12, 1881)
