She was born on Jan. 14, 1944, the daughter of William and Marion (DeForest) Alford.
Vickie is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws, Delbert Ford III and Sadie Hozley and Michael and Michelle Hozley; five grandchildren, Brook Leon, Christopher Hozley, Trista Hozley, Brandon Hozley and Kiley Hozley, all of Wilmington; one aunt, Eva Pelkey of Lake Placid; one sister-in-law, Leona Houle of Rensselaer; and several nieces and nephews.
Vickie enjoyed playing bingo and going for rides. She was employed at Whiteface Mountain for many years until her retirement.
She is predeceased by her husband, Delbert Hozley II; and two sisters, Judy Bowen and Edna Sprague.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2008, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Zaumetzer-Sprague Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Monday July 7, 2008, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Haselton Cemetery in Wilmington, N.Y.
