Edward Wills was a Kentucky National Guardsman called to federal service in 1940. His company was assigned to the
192nd Tank Battalion as D Company. He was reassigned to HQ Company. In December 1941, he was stationed in the Philippines when Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. He became a Prisoner of War on April 9, 1942, and took part in the Bataan Death March. He was held as a POW at Camp O'Donnell and Cabanatuan. He died of disease at Cabanatuan.
