Gordon V. Coates, 77, of Las Vegas, Nevada and formerly of Kingston, Utah, passed away October 16, 2002, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was born January 4, 1925, in Kingston, Utah, to Wilford Cyrus and Lilly Snow Anderson Coates. He married Maxine Rae Quinn, September 6, 1948, in Fredonia, Arizona. She preceded him in death, September 17, 1974.
Gordan is survived by his children, Brent Coates, Las Vegas, NV; Brenda (James) Kisner, Philippi, West Virginia; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, wife, Maxine; four brothers: Cyrus, Roy, Eldon, and Leo; sister, Thurma Jensen.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2002, at 2:00 p.m. in the Kingston Cemetery.
Fiends may call at the Magleby Mortuary on Monday, 50 S. 100 W. in Richfield, UT. from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the Town Hall in Kingston, Utah, on Tuesday from 12:00 Noon to 1:30 p.m.
Burial will be in the Kingston Cemetery with military rites by V.F.W. Piute Post #7561.
