WM. L. MILLESON
Will L. Milleson, a long-time resident of Russell, passed away July 28, 1943 at the Yocom Hospital in Chariton, Iowa at the age of 76 years, 10 months and 13 days.
He was born in Avery, Monroe County, Iowa on Sep. 15, 1866 and in his boyhood moved with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Milleson to a farm east of Russell. In later years he resided in Russell. As a young man he united with the Methodist church.
Mr. Milleson had been crippled, going about on crutches since the age of 2 years. The last few years he had been confined to his home.
Two brothers preceded him in death, J. F. Milleson of St. Louis, Mo., and Harley Lloyd Milleson. Those who remain to mourn his departure are four sisters: Mrs. Jennie Cruise of Kearney, Nebr., Mrs. Della Kinmounth of Chariton, Iowa, Mrs. Mae Shirer of Russell, Iowa and Mrs. Harvey Robedeau of Portland, Oregon, and two brothers, Wesley Milleson of Portland, Oregon and Silas Milleson of Thedford, Nebraska, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. W. H. Thompson of the Russell Presbyterian church at the Woodman Funeral Home, Thursday afternoon, July 29th at 2:30 and interment was made in the Russell cemetery.
