Elizabeth and Mads Larsen were married 14 Feb 1846, in Mesinge, Odense, Denmark. They were converted to the Mormon LDS religion and decided to emmigrate to America. They sailed from Copenhagen on the "S.S. Loven" to Liverpool, England, on the 29th of November 1855, and from Liverpool they sailed on the ship "John J. Boyd." She and Mads had 4 children and one daughter survived to adulthood, Anna Sophia, born in Denmark 1848.
