Services for John F. Valentine, 53, who died Friday morning in his Genesee Township, Potter County, residence, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m.
The Rev. Curtis Ziegler will officiate in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, Bernville. Burial will be in St. John's (Host) Cemetery, Bernville R. D. 2.
Born in Rehrersburg, a son of the late Cress and Nora (Stoudt) Valentine, he was a farmer and a Genesee Township supervisor.
A member of the Genesee Fire Co., he is survived by his widow, Pauline (Blatt) Valentine, and two daughters: Susan Amy and Lori Jane, both at home.
A son, Ted J., at home, and a brother, James of Rehrersburg.
Also five sisters: Mrs. Annie Bashore, Bethel; Mrs. Mary Boltz, Hamlin; Mrs. Sarah Boltz, Kutztown; Mrs. Verna Etchberger, Sinking Spring, and Mrs. Catherine Sutherly, Fredericksburg.
