ROBERT S. GODLEWSKI A retired Aircraft Maintenance Inspector for American Airlines died Monday, October 27, 2006, at Saint Rose Hospital in Hayward. He was 73 Mr. Godlewski was born on October 5, 1933 in Bayonne, New Jersey, and lived in Union City for 33 years. Mr. Godlewski served in the United States Air Force and worked at American Airlines for 38 years. He was a parishioner at Saint Anne Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Gerry Godlewski; children Jo Ann Batcheller, sons Mike, Rob and Chris Godlewski; siblings Gloria Macario, Barbara Natoli, Delores Weaver and Cheryl Chianese all of New Jersey; ten grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to a funeral service on Wednesday, November 1st at Holy Angels Funeral and Cremation Center, 1051 Harder Rd., Hayward beginning at 11:30 a.m. Visiting for Mr. Godlewski will be on October 31st from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
