Death of HERMAN RONSPEES, a Well Known Blacksmith
HIGGINSVILLE - Oct. 6, - Herman Ronspees, aged 57 years, died suddenly at 12:30 p.m. to-day. He had not been in the best of health for the past four years and for four weeks had been confined to his bed. Mr. Ronspees was born in Germany and came to this country when he was a young man. He first located in Stacy Basin and later removed to Higginsville. He was a blacksmith by trade and for many years conducted a shop in this village. For some time he held the office of town clerk. His wife died 14 years ago.
He is survived by two sons, John, who lives at home, and Clarence, who lives about one mile out of the village. He is also survived by two brothers, Charles, of Higginsville and August of Kenwood.
