Mr. Fred Lawson Stringer, Jr.- 60, of Magnolia Springs, died Tuesday Jan. 16, 2007 at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. Stringer will be at 2pm Friday at Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley, with visitation from 6-8pm Thursday evening at Pine Rest Funeral Home. Fred L. Stringer was born December 31, 1946 in Selma, Al to Fred and Emma Gean Sewell Stringer. He was a veteran. Mr. Stringer was a wonderful and loving husband and father, Mr. Stringer is survived by his wife, Jackie Hicks Stringer; three sons, Fred Lawson Stringer, III of Foley, Al, Leroy Hicks and Edward Lawson Stringer, Sr., both of Magnolia Springs, Al.; two daughters, Norma Gregory and Victoria Newberry both of Magnolia Springs, Al; and a sister, Sue Ann Parten of Selma, Al. burial will be in Pine Rest Memorial Park.
