She was born May 25, 1924, in Warren, the daughter of Harry and Alliene Harrison Eaton.
She was a 1942 graduate of Warren High School and a graduate of Rider College in Trenton, N.J.
A Westfield resident since 1976, she was a retired federal employee of the interior committee of the U.S. Senate. She was a member of Martha Washington Chapter of the the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Warren County Chapter of the Daughters of the American Colonist. She served as a volunteer with the Patterson Library of Westfield for 10 years and was a member of the board of directors of the Westfield Counseling Service for 13 years.
She was an Army wife, and she and her husband spent their retirement years restoring the Victorian home they purchased prior to coming to Westfield.
She is survived by her husband, David R. Correll of Westfield; a son, John David Correll of North Ridgeville, Ohio; two daughters: Deborah Correll Cohn of Philadelphia and Arianne Correll Mansfield of Lovettsville, Va.; seven grandchildren: Arianne McDonough of Dover, N.H., Coner McDonough of El Paso, Texas, Kim Correll of London, Kendall Correll of North Ridgeville, Annamika Hacikyan of Lovettsville, Shaant Hacikyan of Buffalo and Mary Katherine Correll of Germany; and three sisters: Frances Eaton Larson and Dixie Eaton Weldon, both of Warren, and Louise Eaton Hogg of Grove City, Pa.
She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Correll.
