Iva Rebecca Thomas Moore -- A native of Mobile, AL, born January 7, 1923, departed this life on Sunday, December 28, 2008 at her home in Fairhope, AL, surrounded by her devoted family. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leonard Mark Thomas, Sr.; her father, Robert B. Sizemore, Sr.; her mother, Vance Wade Hosea, and three brothers, Robert, Jr., Emmette, and Jack Sizemore. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Harold Newburn Moore; beloved son, Leonard Mark Thomas and devoted daughter-in-law, Jewell, all of Fairhope, AL; cherished sisters, Nina Eubanks of Mobile, AL, Mary Ann Boggs of LuRay, VA, and Carol Lee Clark of Augusta, GA; brothers-in-law, James Eubanks, Charles Clark, Herbert Moore, and John, Hubert, and William Thomas; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Sizemore, Betty Sue Rogillio, Catherine Carpenter, Annie Mae Norman, Mildred Bays, and Leverne Thomas; nieces, Martha Jo, Carol, Patricia, Jo Ann, and Linda; nephews, Warren, Cecil, Bob, Wayne, Terry, and Alan; and a lifelong friend, Fannie Smith. The family wishes to thank Community Hospice of Baldwin County staff for their care and support. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 12:00 Noon. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
