Moore was born in Heflin and died Feb. 14, 2006 in Dubberly. He was an oil switcher for Nelson Energy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Virene Moore of Dubberly; friend and mother of his children, Mildred Moore of Dubberly; three sons, Mike Moore of Dubberly, Eddie Moore and wife Catherine of Dubberly and Joe Moore and wife LeJean of Deville; five grandchildren, Hannah and Julia Moore of Deville and Lewis, Cheyenne and Hunter Ben Moore of Dubberly; six step-children, Marcia Stewart and husband Fred of Minden, Terri James and husband Ralph of Heflin, Wesley Wells of Heflin, Reagan Wells and wife Sarah of Sibley, John Wells and wife Tina of Jamestown and Luke Wells of Shreveport; 11 step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
