Pedro V. Cruz Jr., 62, of Tucson, Arizona, was called to his Creator on April 30, 2009.

Preceded in death, maternal grandparents, Thomas and Maria Victoria Valenzuela; father, Pedro A. Cruz.

Survived by his wife of 40 happy years, Martha Cruz; sons, David (Roberta), Edward (Judith) and daughter, Angelina; grandchildren, Audie U. and Amanda; mother, Mariana V. Flores; brothers, sisters and extended family and friends. Special friend, Tony "Pollito" Alvarez.

During his lifetime, Pete served in the United States Navy, Seal Team Two and was a highly decorated Vietnam combat war veteran and member of P.Y.T. American Legion Yoeme Post 125.

He touched many lives with his words and jokes. Above all, his love for his family was infinite!

Rosary recited on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Cristo Rey Church, 7500 S. Cmo. Benem. Mass will be offered Friday, May 8, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at Cristo Rey Church. Interment to follow at Monte Calvario New Pascua Cemetery.
