Winona Mae Packard Arnold
August 26, 1927 - June 9, 2009

On June 9, 2009 our angel left this world to walk into the next to be united with her heavenly Father. She began her life in Fort Robinson, Nebraska on August 26, 1927. She made several moves as a child/teenager to Nebraska , Wyoming, and then to Farmington, New Mexico where she graduated and met her first husband, Dukey Endsley. Here, the couple had three children, Richard "Butch", Gary and Ramona Endsley. They later divorced. She was working hard as a single mother when she met her second husband, Stanley Arnold. Winona and Stanley had several successful welding shops for many years. They moved to Alaska then to Nevada where they lived for over 15 years. They later returned to Grand Junction, CO where she spent the remaining part of her life. She was a grandma to six grandchildren in order Richele, Tammy, Ryan, Adam, Shawna and Travis. She was a great bamma to 12 grandchildren, in order Amithyst, Kyle, Kaytlin, Rachel, Alex, Ethan, Brendan, Creighton, Hunter, Riley, Mason and Maris. She enjoyed her sweets, Nascar #18 Kyle Busch, and her faith in God, and her family. She touched everyone's heart with her gentle kindness, never judging and always eager to help. She will be missed but her presence will remain. Her journey ended at home with her caregiver/daughter, Ramona and her granddaughter, Shawna. She kept us laughing to the end of her time. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elfreda and Elmer; son-in-law, Jess; her first husband, Dukey; her great granddaughter, Sophia Mae and her puppy, Snort Snort. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory can go to Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado. Thank you for sending all your angels to help our angelmomma. A viewing will take place at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary on Friday from 7 - 9:00 p.m., with services on Saturday the 13th at 2:00 p.m. at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. We will travel over the bridge one last time to lay her to rest at the Orchard Mesa Cemetery. Dinner will be held at the LDS church 2542 G Rd., after all services. We ask you please wear your brightest colors.
