Wreck victim dies at USA
A Monroeville man who was involved in a one-car accident Dec. 1 died at the University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile last week.
Edgar Tucker, 62, died Wednesday of last week from injuries suffered in the early-morning accident. His car left the road as he rounded a curve and hit a tree on Roberts Drive, according to Monroeville police.

Edgar Tucker of Monroeville died in the University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile Wednesday of last week. A lifelong resident of Monroe County, he was 62 and a member of Morning Star Baptist Church in Monroeville.
The Rev. Alfonzia Williams conducted the 2 p.m. service Sunday in Morning Star Baptist Church. Burial followed in Limestone Faulk Cemetery in Drewry.
Mr. Tucker is survived by four sons, Roy Edward Tucker of South Carolina, Tommy L. Tucker and Charles Marshall Tucker, both of Columbus, Ohio, and J. D. Williams of Pensacola; and three daughters, Mrs. Luverne Thomas and Mrs. Shirley A. Goodman, both of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. Betty Joyce English of Monroeville.
Also surviving are five brothers, Oscar Tucker of Uriah, Seemore Tucker of Mobile, John Lee Tucker of San Diego, Calif., Tommie Tucker of Monroeville and David Glenn of Memphis, Tenn.; one sister, Mrs. Luvenia Cole of Monroeville; 14 gradchildren and several nieces and nephews.
