He was born at Lincoln, Kan. He married Adella Farquharson in 1912 at Lincoln and she died in 1942.
Baker lived in the Macleay community near Salem for 20 years. He later lived in Washington and Idaho and came to Dallas last July. He belonged to the Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Col. Alan Baker, Anchorage, Alaska, and Roger Baker, Dallas and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. (PST) Wednesday at Bollman Chapel, Rev. Sydney Gaither will officiate, with interment at Macleay Cemetery.
