David N. Koon, 46, of Greenwood, Indiana died June 12, 2009 at St. Francis Medical Center, Beech Grove, Indiana following an 18 month illness.
He was born March 9, 1963 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
David was senior quality engineer at ProCure Treatment Center, Bloomington, Indiana for two years. He received his BS degree from Purdue University and his masters degree from Thomas More College, Crestview Hill, Kentucky.
Survivors include Debby Koon and their children, Gunnar and Stefanee Koon; siblings, Walter L. (wife, Janette) Koon, Jr., Kent (wife, Angie) Koon, and Susan (Dan) Dodds; nieces and nephew, Katy Koon, Tyler Koon, Liz Dodds, and Leigh Anne Dodds.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Jean (Mertz) Koon, Sr.
Services:7 P.M., Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St., Greenwood, Indiana 46142 with Pastor Jonathan Hoover officiating. Inurnment will follow at at later date at The Gardens at Olive Branch, Greenwood, Indiana.
