DEATH OF MRS. MARY M. TAYLOR

She Was the Widow of a Former Kansas City Pastor.

Mrs. Mary M. Taylor, widow of the late Rev. J.Z. Taylor, died in Chicago Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.H. Seamans. Burial will be here in Elmwood Cemetery at 2 o'clock this afternoon. A brief service will be held at the grave.

Mrs. Taylor and her husband came to Kansas City in 1875, when Mr. Taylor assumed the pastorate of the Christian Church, then at the northwest corner of Twelfth and Main streets. He died in 1889. The surviving children are Mrs. Seamans, Mrs. Wilbur Topping of Terre Haute, Ind., and Stewart Taylor of this city. Mrs. Taylor was 75 years old.
