LINDSEY DELOS KING, AGE 86
And a resident of Enon died at 9:45 PM Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at his residence. He was born in Zona, Louisiana and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Before illness Mr. King attended Talley's Chapel United Pentecostal Church near Sun. He was a truck driver and a great mechanic.

Survived by:

Loving wife of 27 years, Peggy Ann King of Franklinton

Loving son and Daughter in law: Ellie Wayne King, Jr. and Donna King

Loving daughter and son in law: Lillie K. Freeman and Gary Freeman, Jr.

12 Wonderful grandchildren: Tiffany Whitehead Smith, Crystal L. King, Dillon J. Warner, Austin M. Warner, Lindsey C. King, Amber K. Warner, Amanda L. King, Joshua S. King, Hannah G. Freeman, Jazmine M. Saucier, Cody Saucier, and Shawn Saucier

2 Great-grandchildren: Demetrius "Tamyha" Whittean and Demetrius "Chino" Whittean

Also numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends

He was preceded in death by a daughter Linda Pauline Whitehead, parents Delos Manuel King and Lillie Mae Corkern King, brothers James E. King and Cloyd D. King and sisters Tessie Voth and Nina Mae King and a son in law Thomas Whitehead.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Thursday June 11th from 5 pm until 10 pm and after 10 am on Friday. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Friday in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Grant Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Knight Memorial Gardens in Enon.

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate monetary donations for the family on Mr. King's beahlf to assist in final expenses.
