The funeral will be 3 p.m. Monday at Midway United Methodist Church, where she was a member, by the Rev. John Woods. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Beck was born April 13, 1922, in Davidson County, to William Carl Smith and Hattie Crotts Smith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Jones Beck.
Surviving are sons, Lowell Beck and wife, Vickie, and Clinton Beck and wife, Patricia, all of Lexington; daughter, Debra Light and husband, Keith, of Lexington; four grandchildren, Amanda Beck of Salt Lake City, Utah, Carrie Beck, Lauren Light, both of Lexington and Sarah Beck of Asheville; brothers, Ed Smith and wife, Mary, and Boyd Smith and wife, Kathleen, all of Lexington; and a sister, Arlene Smith of Lexington.
