Born April 4, 1944 in Monroe Co., he was the son of Ray and Geneva (Blake) Andis. He married Linda May on May 26, 1962 and she survives. He was a crane operator at stone mills in the area.
Survivors include his wife, Linda of Bedford; three daughters, Alicia Albietz and husband, Jeff of Heltonville, Lana Andis-Eicle and Anna Eggles-Drehobl both of Bedford; Sheila Andis and Denny Andis and wife, Julie of Bedford; six grandchildren, Jeremy and Justin Gulley, Dylan Duncan, Grace Eggles, Cazz and Caylee Eicle; three great grandchildren, Austin, Chloe and Addy May Gulley; three sisters, Sandy Westerman of Bedford, Sue George of Bedford and J. Denise Salmon and husband, Mark of Pascagolua, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Larry and Hubert Andis and his grandparents.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, June 16th at the Breckenridge Cemetery with Sister Becky Ryan officiating. Burial will follow.
