She was born March 13, 1909 at Union in Monroe County W. Va., a daughter of the late Bernie Coe Weikle and Margaret Ann Morgan Weikle,
Mrs. Humphries was an employee of the former Industrial Rayon Corp. in Covington and worked for a number of years in the Edgemont Elementary School cafeteria. She was a member of the Parrish Court United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry L. Humphries in 1953 and also by six brothers and sisters.
Surviving are her daughter Mrs. Richard (Patty) Hissong of Florence S.C.; three grandchildren, Thom Glover, David Glover and Mary Peppo, all of Troy Ohio; three great-grandchildren, Alissa Peppo, Matthew Glover and Cheyenne Glover, all of Troy, Ohio; two brothers, James R. Weikle of Alderson, W.Va. and Warren F. Weikle of Denver, Co. and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted Friday at 2 P.M. from the chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Matthew T. Nelson officiating.
Interment will be made in the Humphries Cemetery.
