BRAZIL — Rose (Hayes) Pearce, 52, of Brazil, passed away May 13, 2009, in her residence. She was born Feb. 9, 1957, in Brazil, to Raymond J. and Ruby E. (Saddler) Hayes. She graduated from Brazil High School with the class of 1975. Mrs. Pearce enjoyed working outdoors, landscaping and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Joshua Lee Pearce; sisters, Reta Hayes Clark and Ruth Hayes Scobee; and a brother, Rodney Hayes. Survivors include her daughter, Wendy Pearce; three grandchildren: Jalyn Morris, Gara Haraway and Fischer Smith; several brothers, Ron Hayes and wife Judy, Randy Hayes and wife Carol, Bob Hayes, Rudy Hayes and wife Cathy, Richard Hayes and wife Leslie, and Rick Hayes, all of Brazil; and several nieces and nephews. Services for Mrs. Pearce will be 1 p.m. Monday at Lawson-Miller Chapel Monday with Pastor Nic Elliott officiating. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until time of services Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Bee Ridge Cemetery. At the family's request, donations may be made to the Riley Autism Clinic or an organization of your choice.
