The funeral for Patricia B. Russell, 73, of 421 New York Ave., will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Cathedral with the Rev. Scott Seymour officiating, and Frank Bateman , deacon, brother of Mrs. Russell , assisting. Entombment will be in Foxwood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Russell died Saturday evening at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center.
She was a secretary at McAdam Cheese, St. Lawrence University, Canton, and later in the nurse's office at the Central Square School District.
She was active at St. Mary's Cathedral and was a member of the Rosary Altar Society.
Born June 24, 1931, in Ogdensburg, daughter of Frank and Elsie Baker Bateman , she graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1948 and from Wallace Secretarial School in 1949.
She married Edwin J. Edghill on May 2, 1953, at St. Mary's Cathedral with the Rev. Everett Denesha officiating. Mr. Edghill died in 1984. She married Robert Russell on Dec. 27, 1986, at the Stone Church.
Surviving besides her husband are four sons, a daughter, a stepson, three stepdaughters, a brother, five grandchildren, 12 step grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Ann Laurino, died Nov. 21, 1988, and a stepson, Leslie Bruce Russell, died in 1956.
Donations may be made to St. Mary's Cathedral.
