Edith Bybee, 86, returned to the loving arms of her Savior on Tuesday, February 28, 2006. She was born June 10, 1919, in Vernal, Utah, to Henry and Rose Perry Williams. Edith married John Q. Janosik September 6, 1942. John was killed in action on July 3, 1944, in France during WWII. She later married Frank Bybee. Frank passed away on March 24, 1966. She was a school teacher for nearly 40 years. Mother loved music, reading and creative writing. She served as a missionary at the Family History Center. Mom is survived by five children, Paul (Sharol) Janosik, Leon (Diane) Bybee, Carolee (Jeff) Peters, Kent (Carolyn) Bybee and Floyd (Debra) Bybee; one sister, Verona Slaugh; sixteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 11th at 2 pm at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 E. 10600 So., Sandy, where the family will receive friends from 12:30 pm to 1:45pm. Graveside Services and Interment will be Monday, March 13th at 2 pm at the Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno, California, next to her husband John. In lieu of flowers please contribute to your favorite charity.
