Dr. Daniel W. Bowers, 83, died Tuesday evening at the Olney Sanitarium. He had been a practicing physician in the Berryville community for many years and was active until recently.
Surviving are his wife, Elsie, two daughters, Mrs. Anna Fritchey, of Claremont, Mrs. Evelyn Allen of Berryville, and two sons, Sam Bowers of Olney and Max Bowers of Claremont.
Funeral services are being held today (Thursday) at the Walnut Grove church with Rev. Oliver Rearing in charge. Interment in the church cemetery. Schaub Funeral Service was in charge of the burial.
