Henry Body Neal of New Bethlehem RD 4 (Eddyville), Redbank Twp., Armstrong County, died Sunday (Aug. 14, 1960) at his home following a year long illness. He was aged 77 years, 10 months and one day.
Mr. Neal was born Oct. 13, 1882, in Redbank Twp., a son of the late William and Martha Harriet (Lantz) Neal. He married Flora E. Shirey July 6, 1910, at Timblin. He was the last survivor of his family.
Mr. Neal was a member of the Eddyville Lutheran Church. He had been a laborer and farmer all his life until retirement four years ago.
Survivors include his wife; seven children, John W. Boyd Jr., Mrs. Della F. Robards, all of New Bethlehem RD 4; Mrs. James (Mary) Hoffman of New Bethlehem; Mrs. Frank (Kathryn) Rohrbaugh of Youngstown, Ohio; Woodrow T, of Philippi, W. Va., and Mrs. George (Gladine) Conner of Rimersburg. Seventeen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive Mr. Neal.
An infant son preceded Mr. Neal in death.
Friends will be received at the Alcorn funeral home, Hawthorn, until time of service at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. Neal's pastor. Rev. M. D. Newman, will conduct the service.
Burial will be made in the Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville.
