The Rev Charles Young of Mt St Joseph's Church, Barstow was the officiant at the High Requiem Mass held this morning for Rebecca Marie Riska, 16, who died July 22 in San Diego. Rosary was recited last evening for her at Mead's Mortuary, Barstow.
Born in Saginaw, Michigan, Rebecca had lived in Barstow for the past five years with her parents, Mr and Mrs George Riska of 621 Kelly Dr. She was a junior at Barstow Union High School
She is survived by the parents, Mr and Mrs George Riska, a grandmother, Mrs Marie Riska of Barstow; three sisters, Marcia, Linda and Mary Jo Riska and a brother, Ronald Riska of Barstow.
Pall bearers were Howard Orbison, Rick Veloz, Richard Monde, Alan Loomis, Pasquel Ortiz and James Duarte.
