Randy never married nor had any children. His life was cut short after finding out he had lung cancer which spread through his body into his lungs causing him to have trouble breathing. It then spread into his heart, which weakened him immensely. It then spread into his brain which killed him quickly. He was a bit of a hermit and recluse. He apparently had a disability and mother Loye tried to help him for YEARS get on the disabled list, but the doctors wouldn't write him a letter to enable the government to put him on the list. He was a heavy smoker and loved to sit home and watch tv, complaining he couldn't work. Randy lived in a mobile home park in Dacono, Weld County, Colorado the last year of his life. He didn't have many, if any, visitors. Little else is known about Randy. He didn't keep in touch with family.
