Thomas "Keith" Christensen, 78, of Holladay, Utah, passed away on December 27, 1996 in Holladay.

He was born in Ephraim, Utah, the son of Thomas Andrew and Olive Evelyn Miller Christensen.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He married Thurza Vance on May 14, 1943, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He loved to do church work, serving in many ward and stake positions, including bishop, councilor in the stake presidency, and Scout Master. He was an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and served a temple mission with his wife Thurza in South Africa.

He was known for his dependability, kindness, charity, and humor. He spent his childhood in Tetonia, Idaho. He worked 6 1/2 years at the Garfield Smelter and 41 years for Wilson Products Co., retiring as Production Vice President.

He is survived by his wife Thurza; sons, David (Violeta), Bruce (Carol), Thomas and daughters Jill (Bob Stewart), Annette (Bill Martin); and a son-in-law, Sam Loftin; 18 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruby Douglas.

He was preceded in death by parents; son, Dale; daughter, Linda; and brother, Van.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, January 4, 1997 at 12 noon in the Olympus Sixth Ward Chapel, 3070 East Nila Way. Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, and one hour prior to the services at the Church.
Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West).
