Son of Thomas and Mary King (Ripley) Hurd. Mary (Ripley) Hurd death certificate says she was buried in Burlington. I believe both Thomas and Mary Hurd are buried at Mount Repose Cemetery in Burlington, Maine in unmarked graves.


FRANKLIN HURD; BURLINGTON, April 24 - Franklin Hurd died Saturday afternoon at his home here after a long illness. He was born in Burlington and had spent most of his life here. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. George Gillespie of Burlington, Mrs, Leon Sibley of Saponic and Mrs. Joseph Luce of Cambridge; two sons, Thomas of Burlington and Irving of Lincoln and several grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Burlington church Monday at two p. m. Rev. George Budd, pastor of the Lincoln Methodist church will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Repose cemetery in Burlington.
