Ione Pugh Foust 69, died this afternoon in Randolph Hospital in Ashboro after a long illness. She was born March 19, 1878. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Reuben P. Foust. She is survived by two daughters, Beatrice Foust Underwood and her husband Reggie, Mrs. G.C. Routh both of Route 1 Franklinville; one son Roy Paris Foust of Greensboro; two brothers E. L. and M. A. Pugh both of Route 1, Franklinville; five sisters, Mrs. G.H. Hardin, Mrs. I.E. Routh both of Route 1, Franklinville; Mrs. A.E. Nixon of Route 1, Trinity, Mrs. R.H. Hackett of Route 1, Pleasant Garden, and Mrs. G.J. Julian of Randleman; and 13 grandchildren. (bio by Bobbi Cecil)
