Wilfred has three memorials. He is included on a memorial wall in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl) in Honolulu, Hawaii [Memorial ID 56118548]. He has this memorial marker in the Oakley Cemetery in Thomas County, Kansas, where his parents are buried [Memorial ID 38238182]. Last, he has a memorial marker in Arlington National Cemetery which is in Section 8 Grave 6318-B [Memorial ID 23795284]. He and his wife Elaine were married less than two years when he died in the war. Elaine never remarried and died 68 years later. She is buried with his memorial marker in Arlington National Cemetery.
