Anna M. (Kochis) Orzell, 93, formerly of Endwell, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2000 at Wilson Memorial Hospital after along illness. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, William W. Orzell and a son-in-law, Joseph W. Visocky. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William and Mary Orzell; a daughter, Delores P. Visocky, all of Johnson City. She was loved by her grandchildren and spouses, Terry A. Visocky, Laura J. Donovan, Karinn and Edward Nazak, Nikki and Kevin Slocum, William and Sue Orzell, Lisa and Edward Kachmar, Pamela and James Lockwood; several great- and great-great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and friends. Anna was born in Arcadia, PA, February 26, 1907 to Joseph and Mary Kochis. Anna was a member of St. Ann's Church, Binghamton, and was formerly employed at Endicott-Johnson Shoe Corp after many years of service. She was also a member of Johnson City Senior Center. She loved her family, flowers, cooking, especially snetzla, veal patties and holupki, for family gatherings. She had a great love for life.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 9 A.M. from Laskowski Funeral Home and at 9:30 A.M. at St. Ann's Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Paul J. Keebler. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Laskowski Funeral Home, Friday, from 7 to 9 P.M. where a Vigil Service will be recited by Rev Paul J. Keebler at 8 P.M. At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Anna's name may be made to a charity of one's choice.
