Vivian Keen Norman, 90, a life-long resident of Jacksonville, FL, died Friday, April 20, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond D. Norman, and her son, Captain R. Keith Norman, U.S. Army. She is survived by one nephew, Frank C. Keen, St. Augustine, FL; nieces Marsha K. Chisholm, (Stoney) Fredericksburg, VA, and Patricia A. Womack; a second cousin, Mildred Roseberry, (Miney), Ocala, FL; and a great niece, Denise W. Foster (Gary). Vivian served the State of Florida (State Attorney's Office) and the Duval County Courthouse for 33 years as an executive secretary and a judicial assistant. Vivian volunteered with the Baptist Hospital Auxiliary, St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, the River City Band, and the PGA at Sawgrass. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 7801 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, FL, with the Rev. Mark W. Atkinson, Rector, officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 4535 Main Street, gate 5. The family wishes to thank the staff of Personalized Living of Cypress Village for their exceptional care of Vivian. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. Vivian's positive outlook on life inspired all who knew her. She was a bright light to us all. Arrangements under the direction of HARDAGE-GIDDENS.
