Frank Petty, age 71, of Molino Road, Fayetteville, died Thursday (June 4, 2009) at his residence. Mr. Petty was a native of Madison County, Ala., the son of the late Marion Francis and Bessie Lee Clutts Petty. He was a self-employed electrician and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Earlene Jones Petty of Fayetteville; four daughters, Peggy Mitchell and husband, Jimmy, of McBurg, Cathy Lee of Fayetteville, Bobi Walkington and husband, Ed, of Pulaski, and Patricia Durham of Kelso; two sons, Ricky Petty of Frankewing and Marc Petty of Pulaski; a sister, Mary Neely of Huntsville, Ala.; a brother, Earl Clutts of Alabama; 25 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Pastor Barry Mitchell officiating. Burial followed in the Wright's Cemetery.
