Richardson Jr., 33, of Franklin, Missouri was assigned to 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Okinawa, Japan; died June 10 while supporting combat operations in Delaram, Afghanistan. His personal awards include the Joint Service Commendation Medal, two Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals and a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. Rick died at age 33 while supporting combat operations in Farah province, Afghanistan. He is the son of a marine and the father of an 8 year old son. Rick and his wife lived in Japan. Rick is the son of Angelia Robin Orick Hartung and Rick Richardson, Sr. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Mary Richardson and maternal grandfather, Herb Orick and father-in-law Herman Payne.
