He was a school bus driver for East Newton Schools.

Memories from 1982:

Harrol was the driver of the bus going to Crowder College Vo-Tech school in Neosho Missouri. That bus was full of guys and us three girls who were attending the nursing classes there. We sat behind him and it seemed like the whole bus did a lot of laughing and having a good time. Everyone behaved, with the exception of the last day of school. We got the chance to go to McDonalds on the way back to East Newton and one of the guys in the back threw out a pack of ketchup which landed on the windshield of a school official. Needless to say, everyone on that bus was called into the office!

Right before the Christmas break, us three girls went together and bought Harrol a red shirt with white polka dots. The guys teased him, telling him he'd never wear that. Sure enough, the next day he had that shirt on.

He was well liked by anyone whoever rode his bus.
