Louise Gertrude Johns, 100, of Van Wert, died at 4 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2011, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
She was born September 30, 1910, in Adams County, Ind., the daughter of the late William Thomas and Charlotte Ruth (Voltz) Johns.
Survivors include five nieces; two nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.
A brother, Dallas C. Johns; and four sisters, Wanda Elsie Johns, Ruth Maxine Johns, Frances Emma Bonfiglio and Violet McDonna Caffee, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 24, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Chad Strabbing officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
Calling hours are from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
