Funeral services for Gloria L. Swanson, 41, who died July 21 in Hoemako Hospital, were held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Cole and Maud Chapel. Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mrs. Swanson came to Casa Grande five years ago from Jamestown, New York. She and her husband owned Jamestown West, a furniture factory here. She was a member of the Hoemako Hospital Auxiliary and was a rushee of the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority.
She is survived by her husband, Richard D.; three daughters, Sarah Annette, Lynn Carol and Julia Ann; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Phetteplace; her grandmother, Mrs. Louella Jenkins, all of Casa Grande; and her sister, Mrs. Leon Traniello, of Orlando, Florida.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society.
